Lovely place with great atmosphere, beautiful interior and friendly staff. It was our first time and they quickly seated us and let us know how things work. We had their big sundail brunch which was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had! It was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and also a big portion! The staff were friendly and seemed overjoyed to work, amazing to experience. Definitely recommend as one of the best places to grab breakfast, brunch, or lunch!! They also have pastries which looked delicious and loads of other stuff! Definitely will be returning!

This is a lovely place! The food is addictive and owners/staff are always lovely and clearly work hard. I really craved their amazing baked eggs (Turkish eggs) which I recommend highly, but today they had this 'aubergine and so much more' noodle salad so I had to try it. As always it didn't disappoint. And it was gluten free. I'll be back soon for the eggs again.

We came across this place tucked away in the tight hilly side streets of Totterdown while hunting for a Sunday breakfast. Light and airy with stain glass windows and a relaxed feel inside, the place was clearly popular as they seemed flat out at nearly midday. Food was excellent, clearly made from scratch rather than out of a tin or packet like so many places. Would definitely recommend hunting this place out.

It’s so highly rated for a reason. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent. Portion sizes were very generous. Service was quick and pleasant. As a vegetarian sometimes you can’t be bothered with the usual avo on toast vibes, so finding this place who’s doing such cool dishes was an unexpected treat. We found this place on the last day of our trip while we were killing time in Bristol before our flight back to Scotland. And we both said we’d go back purely for the brunch!

Had a really delicious brunch this morning at Sundial. The little sundial brunch plate was really flavoursome and original (smokey homemade beans, greens, fried egg, and crispy potato confit to die for), and the samosa was also fantastic. There were so many other things (sweet and savoury) on the menu I also wanted to try! Very vegetarian friendly, and lovely relaxed service. I will definitely be back

The best vegan and gluten free breakfast I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. My partner had the Turkish eggs which he said were awesome too. Can't wait to go back

Lovely hidden gem in Totterdown. I've been twice and both occasions food was stunning, and friendly staff. First time around I went for breakfast, and from the big breakfast option plus one side both myself and my toddler ate well. Second time around, I went for lunch with my partner and we ordered the fresh pasta and papas a lo pobre, both delicious! Definitely will repeat.
